Ok, I think we’re all more or less saying the same thing here. We know the aggregator developer will have to handle any url passed in, but as a standard we should only recommend the following format…
feed:http://www.example.org/rss.xml
At the end of the day I’m not sure it makes a huge difference as Jaykul points out in his post. But I do feel recommending only one will create less confusion and be more true, as Greg said, to what we’re implementing, a browser shortcut.
